Alphabet incorporated and Google goes under it

Google is restructuring and it has incorporated Alphabet to be a parent company, of which Google and other entities such as Calico, Nest and Fiber are under it. Alphabet's CEO will be former Google CEO and co-founder Larry Page, while partner Sergey Brin is president. Eric Schmidt is chairman. Taking over as CEO of the new Google is rising Senior Vice President, Sundar Pichai. The new Google will be a slimmer and focused company managing its search engine, ads, maps, apps, Youtube as well as Android. Google's stock will also be changing over to the new parent company, but will still be trading under GOOGL and GOOG. Google's stock rose 6%, reflecting investors' favourable response to Google's restructuring move. Inaugurating Alphabet Inc. is the launch of a new domain; abc.xyz. On its new website, Alphabet CEO Larry Page said that they were serious about starting new things and that the company will include X Lab, which incubates new efforts like Wing, the drone delivery effort as well as growing the investment arms, Ventures and Capital.
