Kevin Rose, former co-host of Tech TV's The Screen Savers is reportedly taking a semi sabbatical from his duties at Google Ventures to do another startup. The new venture, called North Technologies will be a consumer internet space. It may be a mobile app incubator. Rose, more famously known as the host of Tech TV's popular show The Screen Savers, is an internet entrepreneur and angel investor. He co-founded Revision3, Digg, Pownce as well as invested in prominent startups such as Foursquare and Twitter. In 2011, Rose co-founded Milk, a company focused on creating mobile applications. The following year, the company was bought by Google. At Google, Rose first worked on Google+ but later moved to Google Ventures. In an interview, Rose said he missed creating companies and starting North Technologies was like scratching the itch as an entrepreneur.
