iOS 9 to focus on stability and bug fixing

iOS 9 is in the pipeline and will focus on improving stability and bug fixing. This is a shift from Apple's earlier frenzied pace of updates the last two years when the company introduced iOS 7 which abandoned skeuomorphism of its predecessor in favour of a more simpler UI. iOS 8 on the other hand introduced a suite of features allowing developer greater freedom to develop apps as well as access to iOS' fingerprint API, the Touch ID. If this piece of news is anything to go by, 2015 will mark the time Apple takes a breather to finetune all the features it has introduced so far. Other than that, Apple will most probably give iOS a much needed performance boost with the iOS 9. There's also word that iOS 9 is intended to reduce storage necessary to install new iOS updates. This will be crucial to iPhones and iPad with a 16GB storage space.
