Attention iOS developers, you can now develop iOS Apps of up to 4GB in size. Apple today announced an increase of maximum app size from 2GB to 4GB. That's a 100% increment! The iOS developer program along with the software development kit were introduced in 2008, a year after the launch of the iPhone. Back then, Apple set a maximum app size of 2GB. With the rapid advancement of smartphones, bigger screens, better graphics, more computing power as well as the ever increasing phone storage size, it's high time the developer community be given more freedom to develop bigger and better apps. Only thing is, who now will buy the 16GB iPhones or iPads?
